Catholic Daughters of the Americas #1424
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. All women age 18 and older are welcome to become members.
Court Sacred Heart #1424 was instituted in 1946. Officers are elected for a 2-year term. Court Sacred Heart members are from New Richland, Waterville, Jansville, Waseca, Morristown, Elysian, Faribault, as well as other cities throughout the sate and a few out of state. Although our court runs fundraising project for financial sustainability, our members also enjoy occasional social events such as our annual salad luncheon and a Christmas Holiday social. Our members appreciate the spiritual benefits that come along with membership - in case of illness, surgery, or for any request, prayers are recited for the intended. A rosary is said at visitations or funerals for all members and immediate family members, if requested. When possible, a CDA Color Guard attends the funeral for CDA members.
Catholic Daughters are Catholic women dedicated to strengthening spiritual life through Christ and His Church.

Secular Franciscans
The Franciscan family, as one among many spiritual families raised up by the Holy Spirit in the Church, unites all members of the people of God – laity, religious, and priests – who recognize that they are called to follow Christ in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi.
