OUTREACH MINISTRY:
As part of our parish outreach, Fr. Antony would like to see the possibility of bringing Holy Communion each week to those who are hospitalized or homebound. How this works is that the outreach volunteer would attend the weekend liturgy at their convenience. Following Mass, they would take Holy Communion to a parishioner's home at an agreed upon time and bring with them a bulletin and spend a few minutes visiting. With homebound folks in all three parishes of Janesville, New Richland, and Waldorf, as well as folks from Ellendale, this is an important time for us to think about broadening our pastoral outreach to make it a parish-wide work of mercy. Please contact our outreach coordinators for 2016, Barb Ahlman (St. Ann) at 507-234-5853 and Marilyn Stenzel (St. Joseph) at 507-465-0124 if you are interested in visiting one or more parishioners.
